Congenital Hydrocephalus in a Pup

Hydrocephalus is the most common congenital condition in dogs. Internal hydrocephalus is the most common type of hydrocephalus in them. It involves a dilation of the ventricular system. External hydrocephalus is a dilation of the subarachnoid space (Harrington et al. 1996). This report presents a fatal clinical case of congenital hydrocephalus in a pup from the Veterinary Teaching Clinic of the University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.
