Breeding Behaviour and Testosterone Level of the Dominant Male of a Captive Deer Population

摘要

The correlation between behavioural observations and faecal testosterone values makes this technique a promising tool that can be used as a reliable means to interpret the breeding behaviour. Such a non-invasive tool can be helpful in controlling theproblem of population explosion of many wild species kept under captive facilities vis-a-vis desirable maneuver in their breeding activities.
