New video addressing 'smart' power grid features highlights from IEEE conferences

IEEE has released an eight-minute video which explains the smart grid and its impowiance for reducing the carbon footprint. Featuring highlights from several IEEE conferences, including Energy 2030 held in Atlanta, Georgia, in November 2008, "A Smart Grid for Intelligent Energy Use" includes, interviews with several power and energy experts from around the world.
