CIWEM Fellow is honored for her extensive services to social justice

Sarah House has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Letters for services to social justice by the University of Winchester. A Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager, a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, Sarah has worked for 25 years in development, humanitarian and transitional contexts, through assignments in more than 25 of the world's poorest countries in Africa, Asia, South America and the Middle East. This includes countries such as Afghanistan, Liberia, Nepal, North Sudan, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, Tanzania and Zambia. She has worked for a range of agencies including WaterAid, UNICEF, Medicins sans Frontieres, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Register of Engineers for Disaster Relief.
