Effect of pest control measures on beneficial soil microarthropods in a year-round fodder production system.

摘要

The application of neem seed kernel powder at 5% w/w (seed dressing) and trineem at 10 g/kg of urea (soil application) along with foliar spray with neem seed kernel extract was adjudged as an ecologically safe plant protection package on account of significant build up of collembola and mite population. Whereas the combination of seed treatment with carbofuran+carbendazim and spray with endosulfan+Dithane M45 [mancozeb] reduced the population of these microarthropods.
