摘要

The material processing techniques such as, pelletising and sintering can he used to convert flyash (FA) into coarse aggregates. These aggregates, referred to as sintered flyash aggregates (MA) in this paper produce lightweight concretes (LWC) possessing desired level of strength. The effect of addition of FA itself as part of hinder was investigated at SERC. Chennai. Test data indicate that LWC containing FA can provide improved corrosion protection to steel.
