摘要

Mining robot is an autonomous mining machinewith flexible control that provides the multi- functional use ofworking head during a mining process. There are three forms ofrobotics in mining namely - Creation of technological robotswith adaptive control; use of remote controlled manipulators formechanisation of manual actions; information robots in the caseof accidents. There are some preconditions for use of robots inmining : increase of expenses on a miner's labour, limitedpossibilities of traditional mechanisation and automation for achanging mining environment deterioration of miner's labourconditions, experience accumulation of robotisation inmachinery. The path to intelligent mining systems havefollowed the progression of mechanisation, remote control,teleoperation and robotics. Robotics, a novel and innovativeintelligent connection between perception and action and canprovide benefits of greater safety and productivity as itincorporates artificial intelligence based algorithms that showpromise for adapting to the dynamic mining environment. Mostof the present work on mining robotics focus on individualmachines. There are some prototypes such as automatic drillingmachines,roof bolters tele loaders etc. Functional modelling andpetri nets are used for synthesis and dynamic simulation ofmining robot systems and to construct robotic basedtechnologies. This paper discusses the need of robotics synthesisand simulation of mining robotics systems and trends indifferent applications of it in the mining industry in details.
