It gives me immense pleasure in welcoming you to the 25th Annual General Meeting of your Company. The Directors' Report and the Audited Accounts for the year ended March 31, 2006 are already with you, and with your permission, I take them as read. Before I take up the agenda for today's meeting, I would like to share with you some of my perceptions of the economy, the aluminium industry and the performance of Nalco as Well as the growth and expansion activities of the Company.
