FMA Intl. purchases Canadian Industrial Machinery (CM) magazine

The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Intl. (FMA), Rockford, Ill., has announced the purchase of Canadian Industrial Machinery (CIM) magazine. Dedicated to Canada's metalworking and fabricating industry, CIM reaches nearly 17,000 industry professionals each month. It also publishes the annual Metal Manufacturers' Purchasing Guide (MMPG). The magazine was founded in 1986. "My goal 23 years ago was to provide our readers with the best information on machine tooling and fabricating technology," said Tom Dillon, former publisher of CIM. "We want our audience to understand machines so that it can help them whert making purchasing decisions, so they can grow as a company. This acquisition by FMA International will enable Canadian companies to continue to grow and be progressive in today's market."
