摘要

We present an X-ray resonant magnetic scattering study at the Fe-K absorption edge of the BaFe_2As_2 compound. The energy spec-trum of the resonant scattering, together with our calculation using the full-potential linear-augmented plane wave method with a local den-sity functional suggests that the observed resonant scattering arises from electric dipole (El) transitions. We discuss the role of Fe K-edge X-ray resonant magnetic scattering in understanding the relationship between the structure and the antiferromagnetic transition in the doped Ba(Fe_(l-x)Co_x)_2As_2 superconductors.
