The saproxylic Coleoptera of Hampton Court Park, Middlesex

Introduction Recent studies of the invertebrate assemblage in Bushy Park have shown that the saproxylic beetle fauna may be of international significance (Denton, 2006). Given that Hampton Court Park is adjacent to Bushy Park, is of similar size, and has a mix of live and standing dead timber, a survey of the park's fauna was long overdue.
