Nuclear plant accident prompts major safety overhaul

Japanese power company Kensai Electric Power(Kepco)plans to shut down all its reactors for safety checks over the next year.The announcement comes after the death of four workers at its Mihama plant on 9 August,when a lack of cooling water caused steam to escape from the power turbines.
