Uncertainty over the knowledge base of new doctors could be the price the medical profession pays for ward-ready juniors, a study has suggested. Doctors supervising the first cohort of junior doctors to study a reformed medical school curriculum found them better prepared for life on the wards than their predecessors in terms of skills, team-working, attitude and recognition of their own Limitations.
