摘要

The use of catalytic convertors has proven to be an effective means of reducing automotive emissions for gasoline powered vehicles. Diesel engines, however, pose an added challenge with respect to NOx reduction strategies. Typically, this issue is addressed using selective catalytic reduction of NOx by NH (NH-SCR)—a process in which aqueous urea can be employed as a source of ammonia.
