Every business needs a plan. What will you sell? Who will buy it? How do you find customers? Maybe more importantly, how do you keep them? You may not have a storefront and regular operating hours, but your cattle operation is a business and you needcustomers. TSCRA director Lorenzo La-sat er is no stranger to marketing efforts. The grandson of Beefmas-ter creator Tom Lasater, he grew up in the cattle business and now serves as president of Isa Cattle Co. in San Angelo. He also owns a printing company and runs the family's hunting business, Lasater Whitetail Lodge. He says he uses many of the same principles and techniques, no matter which of his enterprises he is trying to market.
