摘要

The peer-reviewed reporting of research that is accessible to clinicians and researchers is fundamental to scientific discovery and foundational for evidence-based practices in medicine (Airman, 2002; Sackett, Rosenberg, Gray, Haynes, & Richardson, 1996), including neuropsychology (Bilder, 2011; Chelune, 2010; Kaufman, Boxer, & Bilder, 2013; Straus, Richardson, Glasziou, & Haynes, 2011). Systematic evaluation has revealed insufficient reporting of basic elements of experimental methods and design (e.g., Altman, 2002; Altaian & Dore, 1990; Pocock, Hughes, & Lee, 1987; Schulz, Chalmers, Altman, Grimes, & Dore, 1995) and a negative correlation between reported treatment efficacy and methodological rigor of the clinical trial (Moher et al, 1998).
