Air Products Buys Out DuPont Slurry JV, Invests in Russia

Air Products says it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all of DuPont’s interest in DuPont Air Products NanoMaterials (DA NanoMaterials; Tempe, AZ), a 50-50 joint venture serving the global semiconductor and wafer polishing industries. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. DA NanoMaterials, formed in 2001, manufactures chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) slurries for the semiconductor and wafer polishing industries.
