Sino Prosper to accelerate gold production

WITH an aggressive mine expansion at Aohan Qi Gold Project in Inner Mongolia nearing completion, Sino Prosper State Gold Resource Holdings is set to accelerate production. The Hong Kong-listed company is also seeking to further reinforce production capacity with the contribution of new potential acquisitions. Sino Prosper's chairman Leung Ngai Man says production levels have not been as strong as anticipated with the key reasons being maintenance and safety work at Aohan Qi, expansion of the mine to enhance output and to allow access to new mineralized zones, and changes in plant configuration to add a dry tailings system compliant with new government regulation.
