QUANG TRI ANOTHER POSSIBLE COMPANY MAKER FOR AXIOM

ASX-LISTED Axiom Mining has an impressive portfolio of advanced exploration prospects in the Solomon Islands and Australia but believes its Quang Tri prospect in Vietnam has potential to be another company-maker. Axiom has recently been granted a Mineral Exploration Licence over the 23sqkm prospect in the highly prospective Sepon region of Quang Tri province. The tenement lies 35km to the east of Minmetals' Sepon mines and sits on the same geological structure and within the same basin, Adding to its strong Vietnam focus, Axiom has been granted a Joint Stock Company Licence allowing it to pursue a local listing of its Vietnamese assets, and it plans to develop Quang Tri in tandem with its gold project just to the north in Quang Binh province. The company is also extremely positive about the Solomon Islands where it has secured rights to the world-class Isabel nickel deposit, which is planned to be in production late next year. In Australia, Axiom has a large strategic tenement holding in North Queensland where an extensive exploration drill program is in operation to further define the prospective Chillagoe area.
