LAMP on schedule for first concentrate feed

THE Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP) in the Gebeng Industrial Estate near Kuantan is on schedule for the first concentrate feed during the current quarter. Lynas Corporation has received all required approvals to construct the LAMP, and is in the process of applying for all pre-operation and operation approvals. The company recently notched up a major milestone in achieving 5 million hours lost time injury (LTI) free in the development and continuing construction of the LAMP. Executive chairman Nicholas Curtis says, "Achieving this LTI free milestone is reflective of the company's strong safety, health, environmental and community values and highlights our determination in achieving our goal of zero harm. Lynas will continually protect and contribute to the health and safety of our employees, business partners, the community and our environment."
