A semi-analytical method for the determination of the severity of tests in measurements of the immunity to electromagnetic interferences (EMC)

This contribution discusses the limits currently set to the comparability of the results of tests concerning the immunity to radiated electromagnetic interferences. A general approach is presented which allows to determine the effect of the test environment on the object-under-test and thus the severity of the test. Measurement results reflect the influence on the uncertainty of measurement.
