摘要

The purpose of this article is to explain how dynamic torques are generated in power test stands and how they affect the torque transducer and the measurement signal. Combustion engines and electric drives act as sources of dynamic torque; parasitic effects may, however, generate additional dynamic torque components. Because of the mechanical transfer behaviour of the shaft train, into which the torque transducer has been integrated, the dynamic loads generated can act as excitation sources of torsional, axial, and bending vibrations. It is essential to know or to estimate these loads for choosing an appropriate torque transducer.
