Gevo to Locate Isobutanol Plant at Kertih, Malaysia

Gevo (Englewood, CO) has signed a collaboration agreement with rep- resentatives from the Malaysian government’s East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), the Malaysian Biotechnology Corp. (BiotechCorp; Kuala Lumpur) and the State Government of Terengganu to site a cellulosic biomass isobutanol manufacturing facility in Malaysia. The company is in the fnal stages of evaluating additional partners to complete the biomass to isobutanol value chain.
