The PCC has identified a priority to work with planning agencies (primarily State Planning Departments and Local Councils) to facilitate early notification to pipeline licensees of relevant development with the measurement length. It is agreed that there are more options available to achieve As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) outcomes when consultation happens as early as possible.
