The European Commission says it has launched an antidumping investigation into imports of solar panels and their key components originating in China. The investigation follows a complaint made on July 25, 2012, by EU ProSun, an industry association that represents European Union (EU)-based solar manufacturers. According to the complaint, solar panels and their key components imported from China have been entering the European market at below market prices.
