EPA moves to cancel Bayer insecticide

EPA has issued a notice of intent to cancel registration for the insecticide flubendiamide over concerns it poses an unreasonable risk to aquatic invertebrates important to the aquatic food chain. The agency also says registrants Bayer CropScience and Nichino America have not complied with the voluntary cancellation clause that was a condition of the pesticide’s time-limited registration.
