Oman to Invest $3 Billion in Indian Fertilizer Units

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (New Delhi) says that Oman has agreed in-principle to invest in India to revive some closed plants of Fertilizer Corporation of India (FCI; Noida, India) and Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Ltd. (HFCL; New Delhi) and for the expansion of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF; Mumbai) through investments by Oman Oil Company (OOC; Muscat), which is owned by the government of Oman.
