Despite the considerable burden associated with complex traumatic stress disorders in youth, our understanding of them is at an early stage, with confusion around definition and limited representation in diagnostic systems. The editors hope readers of this book will become 'complex trauma informed', a laudable aim. The book is a comprehensive text that aims to cover both theoretical and clinical aspects of the consequences of complex trauma and maltreatment.
