BASF lifts nylon-6,6 force majeure

BASF is lifting the force majeure it declared on hexamethylenediamine (HMD), AH salt, and nylon-6,6 polymer and the resulting force majeure declaration for nylon-6,6 compounds with immediate effect, the company announced today. The production issues at the company's HMD plant at Seal Sands, UK have been eliminated, BASF says. The two force majeures were declared in June this year.
