ConocoPhillips confirmed on Tuesday it is plans to cut 10% of its global workforce because of low crude oil prices. The majority of the reductions will be occurring in North America. The company had informed its global workforce back in January that reductions should be expected as it looks to reduce its capital in 2015, and implement actions to control its costs and focus on controllable spending.
