Taiwan's FPCC Has No Prospect Of Resuming Operations Of No.1 Cracker

No.1 naphtha cracker of Formosa Petrochemical Corporation, or FPCC, in Taiwan, which has capacity to produce 700,000 tons per year of ethylene, has been halted right after the LPG pipeline accident broke out at the site of the petrochemical complex in Mailiao on May 12th. At the moment, there is little prospect of the cracker being restored.
