Kansai Electric Consumes More Than 4 Mil MT in FY2013

Kansai Electric Power Company consumed more than 4 million MT of coal in fiscal year 2013. Its consumption sharply decreased from FY2012 when 4.6 million MT was consumed. Its consumption in FY2014 is estimated to fall below 4 million MT because days for turnaround will increase at Maizuru thermal power plant, consisting of unit 1 and 2, each having output of 900 MW.
