PTT Public Company Limited, Thailand now has a policy to expand the coal export business aiming at diversification of its business fields. Based on this policy, PTT decided on 27th of August to acquire additional 54.73% share in Sakari Resources Limited, a mining company in Singapore, and raise its shareholding to 100%. The purchase amount of the share is about SG$1.2 billion (about US$960 million).
