BHPB Group’s Production of Metallurgical Coal Exceeds 50 Million Tons

The volume of metallurgical coal (based on its interest holding) produced by the group of BHP Billiton Limited(BHPB) in FY2014/15 (one year ending on 30 June 2015) exceeded 50 million tons.In fact, the volume of metallurgical coal produced by BHPB Group including South32 Limited in FY2014/15reached 50.076 million tons, up by 6.537 million tons (15.0%) from the prior year, the breakdown of which was 42.621million tons produced by BHPB itself and 7.455 million tons by South32.
