ICVL, India to Purchase Coal Assets In Mozambique

International Coal Ventures Private Limited (ICVL), India is forecast to purchase several metallurgical coal assets in Mozambique from Rio Tinto plc in the near future. In addition to a 65% interest in Benga coal mine, an existing coal mine in the Tete Province, the Company will make a blanket purchase of interests such as a 100% interest in each of Zambeze project and Tete East project. The total purchase amount is approx. US$108 million.
