Indonesia's Ministry of Trade has issued new regulation number 39/M-DAG/PER/7/2014, which will come into force as of September 1st, 2014. A company, which wants to export coal or coal products, must obtain recognition as a Registered Exporter of Coal (ET-Batu Bara) from the government organization. ET-Batu Bara is given to companies that have a Coal Contract of Work (CCoW) or Mining Business Permit (IUP).
