In the contract price (CP) of January 2010, of which Saudi Aramco notified the customers, propane was priced at 740 US dollars, up 20 US dollars while butane at 735 US dollars, up 5 US dollars from the previous month. On December 28th, just before Japanese year-end and New Year holidays, there were some expectations that Aramco might set price of propane at about 730 US dollars.
