In Asia, three condensate splitters (450,000 barrels per day in total) and three para-xylene (PX) producing units (3,100,000 mt per year) will start operations in the second half of this year, but its looks likely that the facilities will be all compelled to operate at low rates, as PX market has been very depressed since last year. If this forecast comes true, the new facilities will not affect naphtha market at least this year.
