(China) Coal Imports In 2010 May Decrease From One Year Ago-Imported coal price competitiveness falling down due soaring spot price-

There has emerged a possibility that coal imports of China in 2010 would decrease from one year ago. After the turn of 2010, spot export price of coal has been sharply rising, which degraded price competitiveness of imported coal against domestic coal of China for both metallurgical and thermal coal. If, in consequence, rise of spot export price continues under the current pace, coal imports of this country seems very likely to turn downward.
