Lung tumorlets are small foci of neuro-endocrine cell proliferations. These lesions are currently considered to be hyper-plasia of Kultschitzky cells1 but the exact etiology is still unknown. Here we report a case of multiple lung tumorlets and two carcinoids incidentally found in the right middle lobe which was resected because of a clinical diagnosis of myco-bacterium avium complex (MAC) infection.
