With high-speed tyres running at 300 km/ hour, the faster the rotation speed of the tyre, the higher the centrifugal acceleration. To avoid the risk of smoky tread scraps, the high-speed tyres are rated for extreme centrifugal forces and the treads provided with jointless bandages composed of rubberised nylon or hybrid cords to absorb the high forces.
