One could not wish for a more complete biography of one of the greatest surgeons of our times. The chronology starts practically at conception and ends with Dr. Tessier's death. More importantly, the reader will reap the bonus of getting into the mind of the man.Although the author en-ioyed excellent relations and trained with Nobel laureate Joseph Murray and then Ralph Millard, he considers Dr. Tessier as the greatest plastic surgeon of the twentieth century.
