This is part of a four-volume series, Procedures in Reconstructive Surgery, edited by Dr. Gregory R. D. Evans. The series is a successor to his well-regarded single-volume textbook published 8 years previously. In the Preface, he indicates that these volumes are intended as a compendium of common procedures for specific problems in reconstructive plastic surgery. They are meant to be a quick and easy reference for in-depth discussion of treatment options and surgical approaches for the trainee and the practicing physician. These aims have resoundingly been met in this volume, which covers cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery.
