Fat grafting to the breast has enjoyed a furiously paced schedule over the past 2 years, with double and triple bookings at virtually every venue. We all have seen the passion of many of the fat grafting proponents and, as with many other new procedures and technologies, have listened intendy. Naturally, we have interest, as we were all familiar with fat grafting; yet many of us were concerned about the recipient site as an area of particular regulatory scrutiny and medical concern. Many of you probably recall many very enthusiastic, almost evangelistic presentations on fat grafting to the breast. Yet many questions remain: Is it safe?
