Transaction creates the global leafier in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services

On December 1 last year, Ecolab Inc. announced that it had completed its merger with Nalco Holding Company. The merger creates the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, with combined 2011 annualised sales of more than $11 billion.
