Wanhua announces aliphatic isocyanate expansion

Yantai, Shandong — Wanhua Chemical hopes to significantly expand the global footprint of its aliphatic isocyanate business by debottle-necking existing facilities. The company also plans to convert a unit earmarked for H12MDI production to the production of HDI monomer and add a new 5,000T/year HDI biuret plant, scheduled to begin production at the start of 2015.
