Dow is developing NOPs

LONDON -After research starting in 2001,scientists in Dow Chemical Co.have developed a series of chemical manipulations of soya-bean oil.The work,at its research and development centre in Freeport,Texas,has produced materials fully able to compete with conventional polyurethane slabstock polyols,the firm indicated recently.Dow is also working on products for use in flexible moulded foams,including formulations with a copolymer polyol.
