Picking up speed - Module prices: Strong solar growth in the UK and Japan, while demand stymied in Germany

In the course of June, module prices from all regions fell to the lowest level so far this year. This development was arrested at the turn of the month, the curves flattening out in early July or even partially turning up. The expected growth in the market, brought about by the announcement of the amendment to the Renewable Energy Act (EEG) in Germany, has made itself felt both in prices and delivery times. Suddenly not all module types were immediately available. Since, however, many projects were supposed to be online by July 31, there was a run on European stock items.
