Synthesis of Well-Defined Polymeric Activated Esters: An Old Game Revisited?

The research of the Theato group focuses on the synthesis of polymers, especially functional polymers. Over the last years we have developed an expertise to prepare highly functionalized polymers and block copolymers with a precisely defined architecture. This has led to a series of new research projects within various areas, ranging from the synthesis of bioconjugated polymers to the behavior of functional polymers on surfaces and/or at interfaces.
