Sterilizability of Flexible Fiber Scopes in Three Different Technologies of Low Temperature Hydrogen Gas Plasma (LTP)-Sterilizers

The STERRAD~aLTP-technologies tested proved to be appropriate to reprocess the Olympus flexible fiber scope CYF-5A according to the requirements of ISO 556-1, which means that without using a device adding H_2O_2 per "booster" a sterilizing effect was achieved. Further tests should be put up in order to prove sterilizability in the sense of conformity testing for other instruments.
